On 7th May, 2023, Ganit Charcha conducted one Mathematics Session for students between Class V - Class X. The session was conducted by Mr,. Debapriyay Mukhopadhyay and the title of the session was An expository tour to explore the Beauty of Numbers. Agenda – In this session, students had been shown different beautiful and fascinating aspects involving numbers. They were shown different types of identities involving numbers and simple mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At a later half of the session, a few fascinating types of numbers such as amicable numbers, twin primes, etc was introduced to them. The session also talked about some interesting problems which are very simple to understand, but are not solved yet. Motivation - To help students fall in love with numbers so that slowly over time they start to play with numbers. The session was concluded by showing Mathematics based card tricks to the students.
